The Ernakulam Family Court had issued a divorce decree to Kavya Madhavan. The actress was married to Nischal Chandra, who is employed as an officer in Kuwait.
Soon after marriage, Kavya quit acting to stay with her husband in Kuwait.
However, within five months of marriage she developed differences of opinion with her husband and returned to India. She then filed for divorce and continued to concentrate on her acting career.
Her divorce came up for hearing recently and the magistrate declared Kavya and Nischal divorced.
